Big Brother Naija Season 11, “Show Ya Sef,” has reached its final stage, and the race for the ₦160 million grand prize has taken another major turn.
After the Week 8 triple eviction sent Yusuf, Bells and Chimsom Chuka out of the house, 10 contestants remained in the competition. Barry had already secured the first guaranteed place in the finale after winning the Week 8 Head of House challenge.
Then, on Monday, September 21, Keivo won the Week 9 Head of House challenge and became the second confirmed finalist.
But Biggie had another twist in store.
Barry, who still held the season's Ultimate Veto Power, was given a choice that changed the entire finale race. He chose to grant immunity to all the remaining housemates.
As a result, all 10 housemates are now confirmed finalists.
Who Are the BBNaija Season 11 Finalists?
The 10 housemates heading into the grand finale are Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.
This means there are no more housemates fighting for a finale spot. The final 10 have already been determined.
Barry Became the First Finalist
Barry became the first housemate to secure a place in the BBNaija Season 11 finale after winning the Week 8 Head of House challenge.
His victory was particularly significant because the Week 8 HoH was given the newly introduced Ultimate Veto Power in addition to the usual HoH privileges.
Barry defeated Keivo in the final stage of the challenge and was immediately guaranteed a place in the finale.
He later used his Ultimate Veto Power to save Aikou from possible eviction.
The power also remained important going into Week 9, eventually giving Barry the opportunity to make the decision that sent the entire remaining house into the finale.
Keivo Becomes the Second Finalist
Keivo finally got his finale ticket by winning the Week 9 Head of House challenge on September 21.
The victory came one week after he narrowly lost the Week 8 HoH final to Barry.
This time, Keivo defeated Sheba in the final stage of the challenge to claim the HoH crown and an automatic place in the finale.
His win initially made him the second confirmed finalist after Barry.
However, that distinction did not last for long.
Barry's Ultimate Veto Changes Everything
Following Keivo's HoH victory, Big Brother asked Barry to make one final decision with his Ultimate Veto Power.
He was given two options: grant immunity to all the remaining housemates or grant immunity to nobody.
Barry chose to give immunity to everyone.
That decision effectively ended the race for the remaining finale spots because all 10 housemates were now protected and confirmed for the grand finale.
It also means this season has produced an unusual finale situation: all 10 remaining housemates became finalists at the beginning of Week 9.

What Happened to Aikou and Flora's Gambit Status?
Aikou and Flora had a very different route to this point.
Earlier in the season, the pair became the first Gambits. Their special status guaranteed them a place in the house until the finale, but they initially gave up their eligibility to win the ₦160 million prize.
That changed when Biggie introduced “Operation Release the Gambit.”
Viewers were allowed to decide whether Aikou, Flora or both should be released from their Gambit status. The public ultimately released both contestants.
They were subsequently reinstated as regular housemates and became eligible for the grand prize. They could also be nominated and evicted like the other contestants.
That decision has now paid off in another way: both Aikou and Flora are among the final 10.
What Happened in the Week 8 Triple Eviction?
Before the finale lineup was decided, the house lost three contestants in one night.
On September 20, Yusuf, Bells and Chimsom Chuka were evicted during the Week 8 live show.
Chimsom received 6.90 per cent of the votes, Yusuf received 6.77 per cent, while Bells received 6.57 per cent. Tram survived after receiving 7.56 per cent.
Their exits reduced the number of housemates to 10.
The remaining contestants have now all secured their places in the finale.
When Is the BBNaija Season 11 Finale?
TheCable reports that the Season 11 finale is expected to take place on October 4, 2026.
The season began on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for the ₦160 million prize package.
With the final 10 now confirmed, the remaining stage of the competition will determine who ultimately walks away with the grand prize.

The winner of BBNaija Season 11 is competing for a ₦160 million grand prize package, including ₦100 million in cash and an SUV, alongside other prizes and rewards attached to the package.
The Race Is Now About the Winner
The biggest question in the “Show Ya Sef” house is no longer who will make the finale.
That question has been settled.
Barry and Keivo were the first two housemates to earn guaranteed finale places through their Week 8 and Week 9 Head of House victories. Barry's Ultimate Veto decision then changed the game by giving immunity to all 10 remaining contestants.
So, as of September 21, 2026, the BBNaija Season 11 finalists are Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.
